The Sex Offender Treatment Program Clinician serves as a vital member of the clinical team at the Sussex Correctional Institution in Georgetown, DE. In this role, you will work directly with both male and female populations classified for sex offender treatment within the Delaware Department of Corrections facilities. Your work will focus on delivering comprehensive care through group therapy interventions and individualized treatment planning.
You will be responsible for conducting Sexual Risk Assessment Interviews and authoring detailed Sexual Risk and Needs Assessments. The position requires preparing discharge summaries for clients post-treatment and assisting in the planning and implementation of program goals and objectives. A significant portion of your day will involve documenting clinical interactions, treatment notes, and reports using precise clinical language. Additionally, you will attend required trainings and meetings, working toward credentialing with the Delaware Sex Offender Management Board.

Licensed and trained with experience in trauma informed care, or past experience working with a forensic population.
