About the Role
We are seeking a Mental Health Clinician (LCSW, LPCMH, or equivalent) to join our team at Sussex Correctional Institution in Georgetown, DE. This position focuses on providing professional mental health assessment, counseling, crisis intervention, and treatment planning to individuals in a correctional setting.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will support rehabilitation and recovery by addressing behavioral health needs. Your day will involve performing individual and group therapeutic interventions, assisting in the planning and implementation of program goals, and participating in in-service trainings and staff orientations. You will also be responsible for documenting care appropriately in the Electronic Health Record.
This is a PRN role offering Evening and Weekend coverage (Saturdays and Sundays) with no on-call duties required.
