About the Role
We are seeking a team-oriented Installation Technician to join our service team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for customers regarding post-installation issues on security systems and equipment. Beyond troubleshooting, you will engage in special project work as needed, ensuring that every installation satisfies customer and contractual requirements while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleInstall intrusion, fire, CCTV, and access control security systems
- check_circleRun electrical wiring in attics, crawl spaces, and other confined spaces
- check_circleComplete all wiring, connections, and equipment installations to meet customer requirements
- check_circleMaintain good customer relations and assist with contract retention
- check_circleAdhere to safety requirements and maintain company proprietary documentation
- check_circleInterface with Installation Team Leads regarding on-site scheduling and equipment delivery
- check_circleConduct tests to ensure newly installed systems and components are operational
- check_circleTroubleshoot new system installations to ensure compliance with local and federal codes
- check_circleAttend training programs to stay current with product and technology developments
Requirements
- verified1-2 years experience installing/servicing intrusion, fire alarm, access control, CCTV systems
- verifiedHigh School Diploma or equivalent
- verifiedValid state driver's license without restrictions
Nice to Have
Vocational/Technical Degree in electrical, security, or computer systems. NICET Certification. IP Video and IT experience.
