About the Role
STC is seeking technically minded individuals with experience in low voltage electronics to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing on-site service for STC products at customer locations. You will serve as the primary point of contact for post-installation issues regarding security systems and equipment, ensuring application uptime and optimal system performance.
Your day-to-day involves diagnosing and resolving application issues both individually and as part of a team. You will execute preventative maintenance tasks to identify system faults and perform routine configuration changes. The role also includes producing quality technical documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences, performing pre-deployment end-to-end testing of upgrades, and executing on-site installations of software modifications.

Requirements
- verifiedHigh School diploma required or equivalent

- verifiedStrong working knowledge of commercial access control, CCTV, burglary alarm, intrusion systems, and fire alarms
- verifiedStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- verifiedWorking knowledge of network communications and IP addressing
- verifiedCertifications in enterprise grade CCTV and Access Control systems a plus
- verifiedIowa Fire License preferred
