About the Role
As a Service Technician at our Hoover, Alabama location, you will be the backbone of our service department, responsible for identifying necessary vehicle services and performing high-quality repairs, maintenance, and service work. This role exists to ensure every customer vehicle is returned safely and efficiently, maintaining our high standards for Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI). You will work primarily in our service area, utilizing advanced technologies and manufacturer guidelines to diagnose issues, perform repairs, and document all services performed. Your day will involve interacting with service advisors and customers, ensuring clear communication while operating power tools and test equipment in a dynamic environment.
Hiring Process
Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and relevant manufacturer certifications or technical training. We provide all required manufacturer fundamental training and NAPA training to ensure you meet our standards. Successful applicants will be expected to complete manufacturer training for warranty repairs, recalls, and maintenance. The interview process focuses on verifying your mechanical skills, knowledge of automotive parts, and alignment with our core values. Valid Driver's License, Certified/senior technician with respective manufacturer, State inspection/emissions license required by State, All required manufacturer fundamental training and/or NAPA training provided by HAG, Meets and/or exceeds manufacturer requirements for ASE tests, Completed manufacturer training to perform warranty repairs/recalls on most vehicles, PDI's, maintenance, and minor repairs.
