About the Role
The Service Technician is responsible for repairing and reconditioning equipment in the profit center and/or customer locations. This role involves the installation of equipment for customer accounts and the diagnostics of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing problems to take corrective action. You will provide customer assistance in resolving questions, problems, or complaints regarding equipment, maintaining a positive image of the company and product through effective communication and relationship building.
In this position, you will call on customers to investigate operating difficulties, diagnose problems, and determine the nature of corrections. Your day-to-day activities include making repairs or adjustments to return equipment to working order, cleaning and maintaining equipment on location (such as exchanging decanters and cleaning brewers), and performing scheduled and unscheduled service activities including emergency service calls, preventative maintenance, surveys, and installations. You will also be responsible for accurate documentation, including verification of closing calls, invoice completion, asset verification, and maintaining spare parts levels.
