About the Role
The Service Manager is a working leader responsible for overseeing the technical quality, efficiency, and customer service performance of the service department. This role is ideal for an experienced Heavy Duty Technician seeking to transition into a management position while remaining actively involved in shop operations. You will ensure repairs are completed safely, accurately, and efficiently, mentor technicians, and support overall shop performance.
In this hands-on capacity, you will provide technical leadership for HD repair and maintenance operations, assist in diagnosing complex vehicle issues, and perform repair work as needed to ensure quality and customer satisfaction. You will serve as a coach to entry-level and developing team members, monitor workflow to manage productivity, and promote strict safety standards. Additionally, you will communicate operational trends to the Location Manager and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service quality.
Work Environment
You will operate within a tire repair shop environment that requires regular standing, walking, bending, and lifting. The role involves the use of hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and shop machinery, with the physical ability to lift up to 50lbs. The position demands a strong presence in a fast-paced shop setting where reliability and collaboration are key.
Compensation & Benefits
We offer a competitive hourly wage commensurate with experience, ranging from $26 to $36 per hour. The comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, supplemental insurance, paid time off, and holidays. Requirements

Experience using diagnostic tools and shop management systems. ASE certification.
