About the Role
This position is responsible for managing and supervising repair and maintenance operations to ensure the safety and functionality of company properties, including stores, offices, and warehouses. The role serves as a central point for facility operations, developing policies and procedures that ensure compliance with federal and state laws alongside internal company standards.
In this capacity, you will plan and coordinate general repairs, space utilization, and remodeling projects. The role involves proactive facility inspections to document damage, determine repair needs, and resolve operational issues, safety violations, and complaints. You will direct support activities across multiple locations, maintain critical records regarding permits, hazards, and costs, and manage vendor relationships and service contracts. Success in this role requires maintaining ongoing relationships with all departments to anticipate service needs and support enterprise goals.
Work Environment
The role is primarily located in a comfortable indoor area, with any unpleasant conditions being infrequent and not objectionable. The position requires the ability to continuously stand or walk and regularly involves lifting, handling, or carrying moderate-weight materials or equipment (8-20 pounds). Overnight travel is typically required less than 10% of the time.
