As a Service Shop Foreman, you will serve as the operational backbone of our repair facility, supervising service technicians and optimizing the use of shop space and equipment. Your primary mission is to increase customer uptime, reduce vehicle dwell time, and ensure the highest quality of repairs.
In this role, you will manage the daily flow of repair orders, plan work distribution, and assist technicians with complex problem repairs. You will act as a bridge between the shop floor and service writers, communicating delays and additional service needs promptly. Beyond technical oversight, you are responsible for maintaining tool and equipment inventories, managing shop supplies, and ensuring adherence to facility maintenance schedules. You will also play a key role in developing your team by establishing on-the-job training programs, monitoring employee performance, and recommending new hires. The position requires adaptability to varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, and the ability to respond quickly to emergency situations to keep our customers on the road.
