This position serves as a vital support hub within the service center, bridging the gap between customer needs and operational execution. You will be responsible for managing the administrative and customer service aspects of freight movement, ensuring documentation is accurate and that clients receive timely assistance with their shipping inquiries.
The role is dynamic and fast-paced, requiring you to handle a variety of tasks ranging from processing freight documentation and verifying reports to resolving complex customer issues. You will act as a primary point of contact for clients, assisting with pick-up and delivery arrangements, tracing shipments, and providing rate quotes. Additionally, you will support daily operations by coordinating with drivers, reconciling cash collections, and ensuring compliance with all company policies and regulations.
You will work in an office/dock environment that is deadline-oriented. While the shift is scheduled from 16:00 to 22:00, hours may vary to meet operational needs. The role demands the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team to navigate a high-volume, fast-paced setting.
