About the Role

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Flight Systems Software Execution Manager 3 for the Sentinel Program, located at our SDS headquarters in Roy, UT, or Huntsville, AL. As the Program Manager, you will serve as the IFC Lead for Flight Systems, reporting to the GSI Director. This role represents all Flight Systems Software across the portfolio, providing cross-program leadership, governance, and integration.

In this position, you will drive portfolio-level metrics, ensure adherence to processes and procedures, brief executive leadership, and act as the primary liaison with DevOps to enable predictable, high-quality software delivery. You will provide technical project leadership and drive the integration of products across multiple sub-teams. Your focus will be on leading the planning, execution, architecture, design, feature development, and metrics of all program Integrated Functional Capabilities (IFCs). Beyond technical execution, you will create a culture of well-being, inclusion, and engagement that attracts, retains, and enables a high-performing workforce.

Work Environment & Schedule

This is a full-time position with a standard 9/80 work schedule, allowing employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. The role requires 25% travel. Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates. Please note that a Secret clearance is required to start, and the ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP) is necessary.

Hiring Process & Application

The application period for this job is estimated to be 20 days from the posting date, though this timeline may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates. We encourage you to apply as soon as possible to be considered for this opportunity.
