Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Configuration Audit Manager 2 to support the Sentinel Program. This position can be located in Huntsville, AL, or Roy, UT. The successful candidate will lead a team overseeing the Configuration Management Audit team, working closely with Program leadership to ensure long-term and short-term milestones are accomplished.
In this role, you will plan, schedule, and conduct comprehensive functional (FCA) and physical (PCA) audits to verify that configuration items conform to documentation and functional requirements. You will ensure all software and hardware baselines are accurate, audit-ready, and compliant with contract requirements. Beyond technical execution, you will be responsible for employee development, training coordination, policy implementation, and Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) response. You will also track discrepancies to closure, provide status reporting, and maintain compliance records.
This position requires significant travel, with 50% of the time spent conducting audits at over 1,000+ suppliers. A competitive relocation assistance package may be available for qualified candidates.

Experience with Defense/Aerospace engineering, maintenance, and modification records. Demonstrated success leading teams and/or organizations to achieve a common goal. Proven experience with process improvements. Experience with AGILE framework program execution. More than 5 years of experience of direct CDM domain knowledge. Knowledge of Northrop Grumman and Industry CDM Standards including ASME Y14, MIL-HDBK-61, SAE GEIA-859, SAE EIA-649-1, and GEIA-HB-649.
