Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Principal/Sr. Principal Facility Electrical Engineering Technical Lead for the Sentinel Launch Systems Infrastructure Facility Electrical Design (FED) Team. This position is located in Roy, UT, and supports the critical Sentinel program.
In this role, you will serve as a system and/or equipment design engineer. You must be able to understand the intent of Weapon System design at a general level and follow direction on how that informs facility power system design and equipment design decisions. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic and possess fundamental electrical engineering skills. You will foster diverse and inclusive teams with high levels of engagement, receiving mentoring and coaching from leads while also providing leadership. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as you will collaborate closely with Engineering teams and associated stakeholders in a fast-paced environment with high expectations and significantly diverse assignments.

Working experience designing, troubleshooting (RCA) and/or implementing ground power systems, facility power systems and/or launch power systems. Revit experience. Experience with high-power and/or high-frequency systems, including power electronics. Knowledge of EMI/EMC design, shielding techniques, and thermal management for electronic systems. Authorship and release of engineering documentation including technical drawings, specifications, and test procedures. Familiarity with DoD acquisition processes, milestone reviews, and government contracting. Experience maintaining and reporting status of program activities. Electrical Professional Engineering (P.E.) license.
