CGS is seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer to join our team supporting a wide-ranging technical support initiative for a large Federal agency. In this role, you will partner with federal practice engineers and clients to define, design, and implement innovative, beautiful, and intuitive solutions for our federal customers and their stakeholders.
You will lead full-scale UX design efforts, managing the planning, design, and implementation of multiple sites and applications across multiple clients simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Your day-to-day will involve leading all phases of user research and analysis to inform the creation of highly usable web pages and application interfaces. You will create wireframes, storyboards, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas, while also establishing and maintaining rapid customer feedback loops to inform design at critical stages.
This position is ideal for a self-starter who is excited to contribute to government innovation, appreciates collaboration, and can anticipate the needs of others. You will have the opportunity to work on projects designed from scratch as well as redesigns for established platforms, ensuring all solutions are compliant with 508 and US Web Design System (USWDS) standards.
