Vaco by Highspring is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst to join an established and expanding finance team. This position plays a pivotal role in maintaining compliance across a multi-state footprint, with a strong emphasis on indirect tax and meaningful involvement in income tax reporting. In this capacity, you will serve as a key partner to the accounting and operational teams, ensuring the consistent application of tax treatment across the organization. You will be responsible for overseeing sales and use tax compliance, managing filings, and ensuring the accuracy of underlying data. Additionally, you will support income tax processes by preparing and reviewing workpapers tied to federal and state filings completed by external providers. You will also assist with audit activities and tax-related inquiries by compiling support, coordinating with advisors, and driving timely resolutions. A significant part of the role involves enhancing tax processes through improved documentation, identifying automation opportunities, and strengthening internal controls.
