Key Responsibilities
- check_circleOwn and oversee preparation of U.S. federal, state, and Canadian income tax returns
- check_circleManage income tax accounting under ASC 740 including quarterly and annual provisions
- check_circleOversee property tax and sales/use tax compliance and coordinate filings
- check_circleAct as primary contact for external tax advisors and manage their scopes and fees
- check_circleIdentify qualifying R&D activities and partner with engineering to document credits
- check_circleSupport UNICAP and percentage-of-completion tax matters for manufacturing projects
- check_circleLead tax audits, respond to notices, and maintain audit-ready documentation
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- verifiedMinimum 7+ years of progressive tax experience
- verifiedDemonstrated expertise in ASC 740
- verifiedCPA and/or Master's in Taxation (preferred)
- verifiedManager or Senior Manager experience in public accounting or equivalent corporate experience (preferred)
- verifiedExperience with R&D tax credits (preferred)
Nice to Have
Experience with R&D tax credits. CPA and/or Master's in Taxation. Manager or Senior Manager experience in public accounting, or equivalent experience in a complex corporate environment.
