In this seasonal, on-site position, you will serve as a proactive community ambassador and the public face of TurboTax. You will leverage TurboTax marketing support and software to build a thriving business that fosters prosperity for both yourself and your community. Whether serving customers in-person or virtually, you will act as a trusted advisor, connecting with people on a personal level to alleviate the stress often associated with tax preparation.

About the Role

As a Tax Expert – Retail On-Site, you will focus on bringing in new customers and serving as their trusted advisor. You will provide full-service tax return preparation, tax advice, calculations, and software/product support for simple to complex tax situations, including personal and business income, deductions optimization, and amendments. Your ability to demonstrate an understanding of each customer's unique situation is critical to building the long-term trust that turns a one-time transaction into a loyal, multi-year relationship.

Beyond technical preparation, you will facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize tax liabilities, and maximize refunds. You will also engage in local marketing efforts, lead local events, and create accessible tax-related content to make the topic of taxes approachable for your community. This role requires an entrepreneurial mindset to grow your customer portfolio through targeted outreach, networking, and themed marketing events.
