As a seasonal partner in our new TurboTax locations across the United States, you will combine tax expertise with an entrepreneurial spirit to foster community engagement and grow our client base locally.

About the Role

As a Tax Expert – Retail On-Site, you will serve as the public face of TurboTax in your community. This unique opportunity allows you to build a thriving business by establishing long-term relationships and driving customer loyalty. You will act as a trusted advisor, empowering customers to overcome the complexities of taxation through personalized support.

Your day-to-day involves serving customers both in-person and virtually using Intuit's state-of-the-art video communication tools. You will leverage your tax expertise to provide full-service tax return preparation, advice, and software support for simple to complex situations. Beyond filing, you will facilitate discovery sessions to uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, and offer future tax planning advice. Your ability to connect with people on a personal level is critical to alleviating the stress many feel when tackling their taxes.

You will also act as a proactive community ambassador, leading local events and participating in marketing initiatives to make tax topics accessible and approachable. By creating accessible tax-related content and resources, you will help build Intuit's presence in your local area while growing your own customer portfolio.

Hiring Process and Application

To join our team, you must possess an active, unrestricted credential as an EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney, along with an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN). Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 50 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per season. We are looking for individuals who are adaptable, thrive in collaborative environments, and are committed to continuous improvement.

This is a nonexempt, seasonal position requiring onsite presence at a TurboTax location. The role offers a flexible schedule of 25–34 hours per week, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends, with the ability to increase hours during peak seasons. Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills and experience in holistic tax advisory services are highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay-for-performance rewards approach.
