About the Role
As a Tax Expert – Retail On-Site, you will serve as the public face of TurboTax in your local community. This unique seasonal role goes beyond traditional tax preparation; it is about building long-term relationships and empowering customers to navigate their tax needs with confidence. You will act as a proactive community ambassador, leveraging TurboTax marketing support and software to grow the client base and foster prosperity for both yourself and the community you serve.
In this position, you will work on-site at a TurboTax location, interacting with customers both in-person and virtually. Your day will involve providing full-service tax return preparation, offering personalized tax advice, and conducting discovery sessions to uncover deductions and minimize liabilities. Whether handling simple returns or complex business income situations, your ability to connect with people on a personal level is critical to alleviating the stress often associated with tax season. You will help customers achieve their broader financial goals, such as saving for retirement or college, turning one-time transactions into loyal, multi-year relationships.
