The Senior Talent Acquisition Recruitment Specialist serves as a subject matter expert within the Human Resources department, strategically managing recruitment activities to secure top talent dedicated to the care of OU Health's patients. This position acts as a vital advisor to hiring managers, candidates, and the broader Talent Acquisition team, ensuring the organization attracts individuals who align with its mission of excellence in healthcare.
As a Brand Ambassador, you will champion best-in-class, efficient candidate experiences that reflect OU Health's brand, culture, and growth throughout the entire recruitment lifecycle. You will collaborate closely with hiring leaders to identify expectations, clarify processes, and understand specific talent needs, leveraging market knowledge and internal metrics to execute tailored recruitment strategies. This role involves solving complex recruitment problems, mentoring team members, and driving continuous improvement through data-driven decision-making and strategic planning.
Candidates for this role will be evaluated based on their expertise in medical terminology, health care practices, and advanced recruitment methodologies. The selection process includes a review of qualifications, including the requirement for SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification (or attainment within 12 months of hire), and an assessment of experience with Applicant Tracking Systems like Workday. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong business acumen, the ability to work under pressure, and a proven track record of building productive relationships with staffing agencies and internal stakeholders.
