The Electronic Warfare and Airborne Sensors department within the Space and Air Sensors organization is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support the design, development, and testing of cutting-edge Electronic Warfare (EW) technology and sensor systems. This role is critical for advancing a suite of products across multiple programs, ensuring our capabilities remain at the forefront of defense technology.
In this position, you will partner with cross-functional teams to translate customer operational needs into technical requirements. Your day-to-day will involve overseeing the allocation of technical elements, managing system integration, and providing engineering oversight for lab test and qualification activities. You will be instrumental in identifying and resolving faults in system hardware and firmware, supporting production transitions, and engaging with suppliers to ensure seamless product delivery. This is a full-time, onsite role based in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where you will work directly with the team to solve complex challenges in RF systems and signal processing.

Experience with development, implementation, and test of RF jamming algorithms. Proficiency with MATLAB, PathWave ADS, and/or PathWave EMPro for simulation and design of RF systems. Familiarity with programming languages such as C/C++ or Python, including software development and scripting. Experience in RF receiver/exciter product design, development, and/or test within the Electronic Attack (signals jamming) sub-domain of EW. Experience with embedded systems and embedded programming, specifically design/implementation on FPGA hardware. Knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles and tools (e.g., Cameo). Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence). Experience with DOORS for requirements management.
