As a Senior Advanced Systems Engineer, you will analyze, design, develop, and test GDMS systems to ensure the seamless integration of software, hardware, reliability, maintainability, and safety within the total engineering effort. This role is critical for advancing our space-based systems, which typically include digital signal processing algorithms implemented in both hardware and software.
In this position, you will formulate operational concepts and perform mission, functional, cost-benefit, and risk analyses. You will be responsible for developing signal processing architectures and overall system architectures, utilizing techniques from Detection & Estimation Theory, Random Processes Analysis, and Communications and Information Theory. You will work alongside award-winning teams on research-oriented projects that provide practical solutions for our nation's security.
Due to the nature of the work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. A Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is required at the time of hire.
This position is fully on-site at our San Jose, CA location. We offer flexible schedules, including an optional 9/80 schedule where employees can enjoy every other Friday off.
