Cox Automotive is a leading provider of technology solutions for the automotive industry, dedicated to transforming how vehicles are bought, sold, and serviced. Our mission is to drive innovation and efficiency across the entire automotive ecosystem, leveraging data and emerging technologies to create seamless experiences for dealers, consumers, and fleet operators.
We are an agile development team based in Atlanta, GA, focused on building the next generation of core products. Our culture thrives on curiosity and adaptability, encouraging engineers to explore emerging technologies—particularly artificial intelligence—to solve complex challenges. As a senior team member, you will be a key driver of technical excellence, championing best practices in cloud-native and DevOps-focused engineering while fostering a collaborative environment where knowledge sharing is the norm.
This Senior Full Stack Software Engineer role is designed for a versatile professional who enjoys working across the entire technology stack. You will partner closely with product owners, QA engineers, and cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy robust, scalable software solutions. Beyond writing code, you will take ownership of features and systems, proactively identifying problems and influencing architectural decisions to shape our long-term technical strategy.
A significant part of your day will involve mentoring junior and mid-level engineers through technical guidance and peer programming. You will also play a pivotal role in enhancing our infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring our systems are secure, performant, and cost-effective within the AWS cloud. We are particularly excited about your potential to explore and incorporate AI capabilities to improve code quality, streamline deployment processes, and drive innovation within our engineering practice.
Candidates selected for this role will engage in a structured interview process designed to assess both technical depth and cultural fit. While specific steps may vary, the journey typically includes an initial conversation to discuss background and interests, followed by technical assessments and team collaboration sessions. We value clear communication and the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
At Cox Automotive, we believe that diverse perspectives drive better innovation. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and consider qualified applicants regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where every team member can thrive, grow, and contribute to our shared mission.
