About Cox Automotive

Cox Automotive is a leading provider of technology solutions for the automotive industry, dedicated to transforming how vehicles are bought, sold, and serviced. Our mission is to drive innovation and efficiency across the entire automotive ecosystem, leveraging data and emerging technologies to create seamless experiences for dealers, consumers, and fleet operators.

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our agile development team in Atlanta, GA. This role is ideal for a curious, adaptable engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working across the stack. You will be at the forefront of building the next generation of our core products, with a specific focus on exploring and integrating artificial intelligence (AI) to drive innovation.

As a senior team member, you will be a catalyst for technical excellence. Your day-to-day will involve driving cloud-native, DevOps-focused engineering practices while mentoring junior engineers and championing best practices. You will collaborate closely with product owners, QA engineers, and cross-functional teams within a Scrum or Kanban environment. This position offers the opportunity to take full ownership of features and systems, influencing architectural decisions and contributing to the long-term technical strategy while ensuring high-quality, scalable software delivery.

Hiring Process

Our interview process is designed to assess both technical depth and cultural fit. Candidates can expect a series of conversations that include:

  1. Initial Screening: A 30-minute introductory call to discuss your background and interest in the role.
  2. Technical Deep-Dive: A session focused on your coding skills, system design capabilities, and problem-solving approach.
  3. Team Fit & Collaboration: Conversations with potential peers and stakeholders to ensure alignment with our agile, collaborative culture.
  4. Final Review: A concluding discussion to address any remaining questions and outline next steps.

Our Culture & Commitment to Diversity

We foster a dynamic environment where adaptability and continuous learning are valued. We encourage our engineers to stay current with advancements in cloud computing, DevOps, and AI, and to pivot easily when priorities shift. At Cox Automotive, we believe that diverse perspectives drive better innovation. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and consider qualified applicants regardless of background, race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, disability status, or protected veteran status.
