About the Role
Under the guidance of the District Service Manager, the Senior Service Center Manager leads a Service Center II team (typically 10-29 employees) focused on Lab Pack and/or Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) functions. This role is pivotal in driving operational strategies that align with the company's culture and long-term goals while exceeding customer expectations.
You will provide direct oversight of full warehouse and outbound loading capabilities, managing the entire P&L for the service center. Your mission includes driving revenue growth, managing budgets, and ensuring profit targets are met. Beyond financial stewardship, you are responsible for fostering superior customer satisfaction by adhering to strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), ensuring high account retention rates.
The Senior Service Center Manager ensures the location meets or exceeds all environmental health, safety, and regulatory compliance standards, including DOT regulations, production goals, and waste management protocols. Success in this role requires a working knowledge of equipment types such as box trucks and vans, alongside a deep understanding of logistics, planning, and the nuances of the waste management industry.
