About the Role
As a Senior Security Specialist, you will become an integral part of a high-intensity, team-based environment, supporting various programs across several Business Areas within the Electronic Systems Sector. This role is designed for a professional who thrives on developing their career and growing their skills while exercising discretion and independent judgment. You will work closely with security and program management, leadership at all levels, and both internal and external customers to ensure the security of our critical programs.
Your day-to-day involves providing onsite support for all programmatic efforts on the BAE Systems e-WAN. You will interpret and enforce government and internal security policies, develop security plans utilizing the National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM), and manage access controls for onboarding and offboarding. The role requires you to conduct container audits, assist with facility accreditation, provide classification guidance, and lead security education and awareness training. You will also investigate security incidents and coordinate with the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) during formal visits and audits.
