About the Role
This position serves as a critical safety-sensitive role within the school facilities and energy conservation management team. Reporting to the Buildings & Grounds supervisor, the incumbent acts as a key leader in maintaining the safety, security, cleanliness, and operational readiness of school buildings and grounds. The role involves inspecting facilities for hazards, managing maintenance workflows, and supervising a team of custodians and maintenance workers. Beyond daily operations, the position requires managing inventory, handling emergency situations, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols across the district.
Hiring Process
Candidates selected for this position must successfully complete several pre-employment requirements, including a drug screen, a driving history review, and fingerprinting. Additionally, all municipal employees are required to obtain MA Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) clearance and complete Conflict-of-Interest Law Education training.
