We are looking for a Sales Analyst to join our growing team and support our strategic Walmart and Kroger accounts. This role serves as the primary contact for the Walmart replenishment team, managing store-level and distribution center inventory positions while independently delivering weekly replenishment reports. You will act as a bridge between data and strategy, analyzing sales trends, promotion effectiveness, and pricing to develop fact-based insights and recommendations for the VP of Sales.
In this position, you will collaborate with the Insights Director to leverage shopper insights for assortment optimization and merchandising execution. Your day-to-day involves preparing ongoing analyses for Walmart and Kroger, managing item characteristics in systems like Retail Link and Supplier One, and supporting new item launches. You will present complex data in visually appealing formats to communicate highlights to customers and proactively identify opportunities that drive sales and profitability. This is a pivotal role for someone who can simplify robust data into actionable business plans.
This role is based in Chicago or Bentonville, AR. Chicago-based employees will work a hybrid schedule with Monday through Wednesday onsite requirements at the Chicago office. Arkansas-based employees will work remotely with occasional travel required.
Candidates selected for this role will be expected to demonstrate strong analytical capabilities and familiarity with retail systems. The process involves reviewing your background in retail analytics and replenishment processes, followed by discussions on how you approach data visualization and strategic planning.
