We are seeking a Senior Research Associate to join and help grow our Genomics Assay Development team. In this role, you will develop the assay technologies used to analyze patient samples, directly contributing to our goal of creating life-saving diagnostics using Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) technologies.
You will work cross-functionally with Research & Development, automation and process engineering, computational science, and clinical operations to develop and transfer NGS-based assays. Your work will focus on creating, characterizing, verifying, and validating clinical-grade assays to measure complex, blood-based analytes, such as whole-genome sequencing of cfDNA. This position offers a significant opportunity to impact the continued growth of an organization dedicated to transforming cancer care.
The role reports to the Manager of Genomics Late Stage Development and is an onsite position based at our headquarters in Brisbane, California.

Experience in working with methylated ctDNA/cfDNA as an analyte in liquid biopsy workflows. Experience with automated liquid handlers, laboratory information systems, sample tracking systems, and equipment scheduling/status tools. Familiarity with programming in a scientific programming language (e.g., Python or R).
