The team operates with a mandate to protect the public while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and legal compliance.

About the Role

This position serves as a senior-level investigator with significant latitude for independent judgment and initiative. The role is designed for a candidate with extensive experience in long-term investigations, specifically focusing on racketeering, homicides, and counterterrorism. To apply for this position, candidates must submit a cover letter and resume. The selection process prioritizes individuals who meet the strict certification requirements for New York State police officers, including successful completion of police academy training and passing a mandatory background check to carry a firearm. The office seeks candidates who can demonstrate a proven track record in the specific investigative areas outlined in the role.
