This role is for a seasoned professional in media relations who serves as the client's go-to contact. While flawlessly executing FAMs or Media Missions, you will begin working on account strategy and taking a bigger role in helping Account Leads manage the team and leading in-person client-facing interactions. You play a crucial role not just in delivering big hits, features, and profile stories for clients, but also in overseeing the strategy for media relations-focused tasks. You will look at accounts holistically to understand what is needed and jump in for team members at all levels to help alleviate where needed.
The ideal candidate has solid media relationships in place in both regional and national markets, meets with media regularly, and is constantly conceptualizing pitch angles based on sound research to get media engaged and excited. You will take proactive ownership, ensuring the team delivers results while managing client needs and expectations.
