Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) is a community of more than 35,000 nurses, doctors, technicians, therapists, researchers, and teachers united by a shared mission: to care for and protect patients, colleagues, and communities. The Project Management Office (PMO) operates under the general direction of the IT Director, providing leadership and direction for medium to large-scale critical projects. The team serves as an effective liaison between business departments, the project committee, and the information services department, ensuring that clinical applications and initiatives align with user-defined business requirements and best practices.
As a Senior Project Manager on the growing BILH team, you will make a difference in people's lives by leading and overseeing Epic Community Connect initiatives. This role focuses primarily on Ambulatory and Professional Billing (PB) modules while supporting specialty workflows, including Orthopedics (Bones) and Cardiology (Cupid). You will drive complex projects in a collaborative, fast-paced healthcare setting, managing project lifecycles from planning through go-live and post-implementation support.
You will be responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams and maintaining alignment with organizational and client goals. While this position is primarily remote, you must be accessible to support occasional on-site visits during key phases, including pre-go-live, go-live, and post-go-live activities. In this capacity, you will also mentor and advise IT colleagues on tools, best practices, application project management, and cost and schedule analysis.
Candidates with strong Epic expertise, particularly within Community Connect environments, are encouraged to apply. The selection process involves reviewing qualifications against the minimum requirements, including a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and 8-10 years of related work experience in healthcare clinical applications and the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
At BILH, your skill and compassion can make us even stronger. As a healthcare organization, we have a responsibility to do everything in our power to care for our patients and communities. Consequently, BILH requires that all staff be vaccinated against influenza (flu) as a condition of employment.
Beth Israel Lahey Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled.
