About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer – Water & Wastewater for our Jackson, MS office. This position serves as a critical technical partner to the Discipline Manager and the design team, ensuring the successful delivery of projects within budgetary and time constraints. You will provide planning, design, and technical assistance that drives the engineering of civil works projects, ranging from water distribution systems to sanitary sewer collection networks.
In this role, you will lead engineering analyses and evaluations, primarily using computer-based tools, to support hydraulic modeling for pump stations and transmission systems. You will assess existing system conditions, develop remedial measures, and evaluate treatment options for potable water and wastewater plants. Beyond technical design, you will maintain clear communication with clients, assist project managers with administrative duties, and provide leadership and mentoring to engineering staff. Your work will directly influence the planning and recommendations for public water and wastewater facilities.
