Kforce is representing a client seeking a Senior Procurement Contract Specialist for a remote position. This is a strategic role focused on high-impact procurement initiatives, specifically targeting contract strategy, vendor negotiations, and M&A readiness. The position is designed to support future acquisitions, divestitures, and organizational restructuring by evaluating existing agreements, identifying risks, and optimizing contract structures.
This role partners closely with Procurement leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to align procurement strategy with broader business goals. It is explicitly not responsible for transactional procurement activities such as purchase orders, requisitions, or invoicing. Instead, the specialist will lead vendor negotiations to improve commercial terms and flexibility while preparing executive-level analyses and recommendations.
This is an initial 6-month contract role with the potential for extension. The position is fully remote, with a preference for candidates located in the Central or Eastern Time Zone.
Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, protected veteran status, or disability status.
