About the Role
As a Senior Portfolio Manager specializing in Asset Backed Finance, you will take the lead in managing a portfolio of commercial loans and ancillary credit exposure. This position is designed for an anticipatory, forward-focused professional who is independent, transparent, and collaborative. You will be responsible for the early identification of emerging credit problems, industry trends, and company-specific risks.
In this client-facing role, you will lead diligence calls and actively manage the bank's exposure to clients in partnership with Credit Risk and Relationship Managers. Your work will involve analyzing historical financials and projections to ensure accurate risk ratings, while articulating complex industry trends to business partners. You will also play a key role in the recruiting, training, and mentoring of junior team members, helping to develop the next generation of talent and ensure adequate bench strength for the organization.

Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- verifiedMinimum of 8 years of experience in portfolio management including Asset Backed Finance
