This initiative is modernizing the ground-based leg of the U.S. nuclear deterrent triad, encompassing intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) systems and launch infrastructure. The team's current scope focuses on the ground infrastructure component during the Engineering & Manufacturing Development phase.
As a major contractor for the United States and allied governments, Craig Technologies brings half a century of expertise to complex missions. The company has successfully delivered projects ranging from chemical weapons demilitarization and missile defense to base operations, procurement, and restoration. The team leverages this deep history to help customers securely and effectively transform mission delivery.
This position is based onsite in Ogden, Utah, and is critical to the structural integrity and safety of the Sentinel Program's ground infrastructure. You will serve as a Senior Pipe Stress Engineer, applying your expertise to ensure piping systems meet rigorous safety and performance standards. The role involves performing dynamic analysis and modeling piping systems to verify flexibility, stability, and the qualification of equipment nozzle loads in accordance with ASME B31.3 and B31.1 codes.
You will act as a key collaborator within the engineering ecosystem, working closely with layout personnel, pipe support engineers, and other disciplines to deliver quality, cost-effective designs. Your day-to-day will involve evaluating design requirements, resolving conflicting design challenges, and recommending approvals for design drawings. You will also assess the suitability of unconventional materials and techniques, using independent judgment to adapt standard engineering methods to complex project needs.
Candidates selected for this role must be U.S. citizens and are required to pass a comprehensive security background investigation to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
