ASRC Federal Data Network Technologies LLC is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support an upcoming Defense Health Agency (DHA) contract. This role is pivotal in supporting the medical mission of the Department of Defense (DoD), ensuring that highly complex and technical infrastructure requirements are met to serve military treatment facilities (MTFs) effectively.
As the premier Network Specialist and subject matter expert for this engagement, you will serve as the primary point of contact for network issues, configuration management, and communications interconnection across CONUS and OCONUS locations. You will lead the resolution of complex LAN/WLAN/WAN problems, utilizing advanced network management tools to ensure optimal performance and high availability for the MHS mission.
Your day-to-day involves advising government staff and contractor representatives on network design, implementation, and deployment. You will interface with internal and external organizations to resolve technical issues associated with network and routing protocols at all levels of the OSI model. Beyond troubleshooting, you will establish and implement procedures to ensure compliance with DoD and DHA Command objectives, while defining minimum standards for network access and security.
This position requires flexibility to work a hybrid schedule and may involve travel. Success in this role demands a proactive approach to policy development, where you will identify best practice solutions and write standards to guide operations in the Pacific region and beyond.
This position is contingent upon the award of the DHA contract. Candidates must possess an Active Secret Clearance and US Citizenship to successfully complete a government background investigation. The interview process will assess technical mastery of networking protocols, security standards, and the ability to lead complex network engineering initiatives.
