About the Role
We are seeking a Senior ML Engineer to join our team in Plano, TX. This role is designed for a candidate with deep expertise in machine learning engineering, specifically within the Azure Databricks ecosystem. The position requires a true machine learning capacity, distinguishing it from standard data engineering roles.
In this position, you will leverage your 10+ years of experience to design ML-ready data architectures and establish engineering standards. You will be responsible for building and hydrating curated data models while leading technical teams. A core part of your day-to-day will involve implementing the Medallion Architecture: ingesting raw source data into Bronze layers, refining and validating it in Silver, and delivering clean, conformed analytics and ML-ready Gold Layer datasets.
You will utilize Azure Databricks for model development, feature engineering, and data engineering pipelines. Your work will include migrating workloads to Databricks and leveraging Delta Lake, MLflow, and Databricks Workflows to operationalize ML and data transformations. Strong proficiency in Python is essential for driving model development, feature engineering, and ML Ops automation.
Work Model
This is a hybrid role based in Plano, TX, requiring 3 days onsite and 2 days remote per week.
