About the Role
We are a high-end custom millwork and cabinetry firm seeking a precision-oriented Senior Millwork CAD Technician to serve as the technical engine of our design department. This is our #1 priority hire. We are not looking for a general architect or drafter; we need a "Digital Carpenter" who understands how custom wood assemblies are actually constructed and installed.
You will act as a technical partner to our 3-person design team. While they establish the design intent with the client, you are responsible for the technical reality—translating those concepts into 100% accurate, "clash-free," and fabrication-ready shop drawings. Success in this role means providing a seamless bridge between design and the shop floor, catching errors before they become expensive mistakes, and maintaining high velocity in a fast-paced environment.
