About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Mid-Level Systems Engineer to provide enterprise-focused engineering support to a government customer. In this capacity, you will serve as a pivotal link between the Department of Defense, program personnel, and senior executives. Your work ensures the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of deliverables associated with ISO/IEC 15288 process areas.

You will lead contractor systems engineering activities, supervising project engineering staff and technicians while independently making decisions regarding engineering issues and methodology. The role involves briefings to stakeholders on all technical aspects of the project, assisting in the development of innovative approaches to technical challenges, and conducting evaluations for project implementation. You will analyze technical alternatives, propose appropriate engineering standards, and contribute to the development of critical systems engineering documentation, including System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, and Interface Control Documents. Additionally, you will manage system requirements to ensure production systems align with defined architectures like DoDAF and Service-oriented Architecture, while coordinating the resolution of action items from Configuration Control Board meetings and design reviews.
