About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to provide enterprise-focused engineering support to a government customer. In this role, you will serve as a Subject Matter Expert, ensuring the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed across process areas defined in ISO/IEC 15288. You will communicate regularly with program personnel, customers, and senior executives, acting as a bridge between complex engineering requirements and strategic execution.
Your day-to-day involves leading contractor systems engineering activities, supervising project engineering staff and technicians, and independently resolving important engineering issues that require advanced technology. You will plan and develop engineering projects with unique or complex aspects that impact major capabilities of high priority to the enterprise. Additionally, you will brief stakeholders on technical status, assist in developing innovative approaches to technical challenges, and contribute to the creation of critical systems engineering documentation, including System Engineering Plans, Requirements specifications, and Interface Control Documents.
