The Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) serves as a trusted scientific expert and partner representing Bayer within the medical community. In this role, you will disseminate and educate on scientific data related to Bayer products across their lifecycle, establishing proactive, long-term strategic relationships with key healthcare providers, stakeholders, major medical associations, and academic centers of excellence.
You will act as a technical and scientific support resource in the field, ensuring the safe and effective use of Bayer products while managing timely adverse event reporting and responses to unsolicited information requests. As an expert in the Cardiorenal therapeutic area, you will collaborate with internal business partners and external contacts to address specific scientific and educational needs across South Chicago (including Joliet, Peoria, Rockford, Naperville, and Bloomington) and Northern Indiana.

Advanced terminal Doctorate degree in medical or health sciences (e.g., M.D., PhD, PharmD, DPH, EdD) or an advanced degree in Pharmacology, Pharmacy, Medicine, Nursing, or equivalent experience. Working knowledge of FDA and OIG requirements. A minimum of 1 year of MSL experience, 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry, or post-graduate fellowship experience in a hospital or industry setting. Cardiorenal experience.
