(GISI) consolidated a portion of the highly experienced staff of both LiRo and Hill in the Northeast to create a larger, more efficient, and cost-effective team. LiRo-Hill is a 1,100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston, and Edison, NJ. We are looking to build services and capabilities through the growth of our key asset—our staff.
About the Role
We have an immediate need for a Senior Mechanical Engineer at our Edison, NJ location. In this role, you will lead the design and development of HVAC systems for commercial, industrial, municipal, and healthcare facilities. You will serve as a trusted resource for our clients in both the public and private sectors, ensuring high standards of quality and compliance with local codes and client requirements.
Your day will involve performing load calculations, energy modeling, and system sizing using industry-standard software, while preparing detailed mechanical drawings and specifications. You will coordinate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including architects and structural engineers, and interface directly with clients to present technical solutions. Additionally, you will conduct site visits, field inspections, and construction administration, while mentoring junior engineers and providing technical guidance.

Requirements
