We are seeking a seasoned attorney to lead our Long-Term Care Planning Department. This leadership role involves overseeing the Long-Term Care team, meeting directly with clients, reviewing legal documents, and crafting innovative strategies to meet each client’s unique goals. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in elder law, Medicaid planning, and asset protection, along with a passion for client advocacy and team development.
As the department leader, you will serve as a trusted advisor, resolving client concerns promptly and professionally while conducting initial consultations and ongoing meetings with clients and their families. You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive Care Plans, including Medicaid qualification strategies, asset protection, and care coordination. Additionally, you will supervise the preparation and submission of benefit entitlement applications and manage appeals as necessary.
Beyond client-facing duties, you will provide strategic direction to the team, ensuring alignment with our firm values of Quality, Service, Integrity, and Empathy. You will lead and mentor staff, including planners, care coordinators, paralegals, and legal assistants, to ensure accuracy and excellence in all client files. You will also collaborate with Elder Care Navigators and Certified Medicaid Planners™ to deliver holistic solutions and recommend process enhancements to improve operational efficiency and the client experience.
