Peraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. As the world's leading mission capability integrator and transformative enterprise IT provider, we deliver trusted, highly differentiated solutions and technologies to protect our nation and allies. We operate at the critical nexus between traditional and nontraditional threats across all domains: land, sea, space, air, and cyberspace. Our employees serve as valued partners to essential government agencies and support every branch of the U.S. armed forces, solving the most daunting challenges our customers face every day.
As a Senior Intel Analyst supporting a national defense space warfighting mission, you will provide actionable data through briefed intelligence reports that inform decision-makers and the broader Intelligence Community regarding counterspace (kinetic and non-kinetic) threats and assessed vulnerabilities to space and ground assets. This role is central to 24/7 mission protection operations, requiring an expert understanding of terrestrial and on-orbit counterspace threats to guide research and shape assessments within a space operations-focused Intelligence Division.
In this position, you will work closely with flight safety and mission protection staff to support Indication & Warning (I&W) system integration efforts, progressing database accuracy and efficiencies in mission execution. You will continuously endeavor to close organizational knowledge gaps in an ever-changing space domain environment through committed collaboration, expert collection analysis, and balanced resource tasking. Your work will involve leading team tasks to disseminate actionable space intelligence to decision-makers across six geographically separated space operations centers, developing new tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), and serving as a key resource for senior military and civilian government customers.
The application period for this role is estimated to be 30 days from the job posting date, though this timeline may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates.
