Key Responsibilities
- check_circleConduct recurring cybersecurity reviews on information systems in accordance with DoD Manuals and NIST publications
- check_circlePerform technical and administrative assessments of information systems
- check_circleOversee ISSOs to ensure implementation of policies and procedures outlined in cybersecurity artifacts
- check_circleProvide guidance and technical training to ISSOs across the organization
- check_circleSupport the creation, review, and update of cybersecurity documentation and technical writing
- check_circleReview and approve configuration management requests within defined authority
- check_circleIntegrate new cybersecurity processes, procedures, and tools into existing operations
Requirements
- verifiedU.S. citizenship required
- verifiedActive Secret security clearance required
- verifiedUniversity Degree or equivalent experience with 8 years relevant experience, or Advanced Degree with 5 years experience
- verifiedIAM Level I certification (Security+ or other)
- verifiedExperience in cybersecurity, systems security, hardening, or IT
- verifiedExperience with computer technologies (databases, OS, networks, hardware)
- verifiedExperience in physical security, investigations, or criminal justice
- verifiedExperience in project/program management or administration
Nice to Have
Experience working in DoD classified operating and/or laboratory environments. Experience with information system security tools for vulnerability analysis and mitigation (e.g., Splunk, Forcepoint, Ivanti, Tenable, ACAS, HBSS). Familiarity with implementing Government directives and policies from NIST, CNSSI, DoD, or other regulatory standards. Experience executing Assessment & Authorization processes within the Risk Management Framework (RMF). Experience providing technical security consultation for complex, cross-domain, heterogeneous classified networked environments. Familiarity with large multi-facility networks including Windows and Linux environments. Experience interpreting, implementing, and assessing DISA STIGs. Familiarity with the execution and management of cyber incident response, including preservation, containment, and eradication.
