About the Role
As a Senior Cyber Compliance Support Lead, you will serve as a critical partner in maintaining the cyber readiness of the Navy fleet. In this role, you will oversee compliance inspections, support the cyber readiness program, and develop the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that govern our operations. You will be responsible for conducting cyber readiness visits to over 35 ships annually, ensuring strict adherence to Communications Tasking Orders, DoD/Navy policies, and established SOPs. Your work will directly impact the security posture of our government partners, requiring you to maintain readiness dashboards and Knowledge Management databases while drafting and updating essential cybersecurity instructions.
Work Environment
This position is based in Norfolk, VA, primarily at the MSC HQ contractor site, with frequent meetings at government sites. The role involves significant travel (25-50%) for CONUS and OCONUS ship visits. The work environment is an office setting with a low noise level, operating on a hybrid schedule that balances contractor site work with government site meetings.

Requirements
- verified8-10 years experience in compliance inspections and readiness support
- verifiedProficiency in ACAS, eMASS, HBSS, VRAM

- verifiedExperience supporting federal environments (IC, DoD, etc.)
- verified8570 certification: IAM Level III
- verifiedBachelor of Art or Bachelor of Science degree

Nice to Have
Bachelor of Art or Bachelor of Science degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field. Prior experience supporting the same or similar contract with an in-depth understanding of the customer environment, requirements, and operational landscape.
