About the Role

Our cybersecurity team is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support our operations 100% onsite at our facility in Woburn, Massachusetts. In this role, you will interface and collaborate closely with the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to ensure strict adherence to NISPOM Chapter 8, DAAPM, and JSIG policies.

You will be the driving force behind system compliance, auditing, and security plan development. Your day-to-day involves delivering essential information systems security education and awareness, assisting in the investigation of security violations, and preparing reports that specify corrective and preventative actions. This position requires routine collaboration with the facility security team, program personnel, and government representatives to manage security sustainment activities, including hardware and software change management, account management, and media protection.

Application Requirements:

• Citizenship: U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for the necessary security clearance.
• Clearance: An active and transferable U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance is required on day one.
• Certification: Within six months of your hire date, you must obtain and maintain a Security professional certification commensurate with IAM Level I (e.g., Security+), if you do not already possess one.
