At Transamerica, hard work, innovative thinking, and personal accountability are qualities we honor and reward. We understand the potential of leveraging the talents of a diverse workforce and embrace an environment where employees enjoy a balance between their careers, families, communities, and personal interests.
We believe everyone deserves to live their best life. More than a century ago, we were among the first financial services companies in America to serve everyday people from all walks of life. Today, we are part of Aegon, an integrated, diversified, international financial services group serving approximately 23.9 million customers worldwide. Our insurance, retirement, and investment solutions help people make the most of what's important to them.
This position sits within Aegon's Global Technology Services - Security (GTS-security), a team dedicated to delivering information security programs across all business units. The GTS-security team establishes and maintains information security policies, governance, risk, and compliance metrics, while operating a global Security Operations Center and managing Identity and Network Security.
In this specific capacity, you will focus on information and data protection. Your primary mission is to run the Data Loss Prevention (DLP) tooling and support the global cohesive data protection program from an information security perspective. You will work closely with local business unit information security teams to ensure a unified delivery of security services, bridging the gap between technical implementation and global strategy.
This is a hybrid position requiring three days in the office per week. The role is based in one of our hub locations: Cedar Rapids, Philadelphia, or Denver. Occasional travel (less than 10%) may be required.
We believe our commitment to diversity and inclusion creates a work environment filled with exceptional individuals. Transamerica has been recognized for its efforts through the Human Rights Campaign Corporate Equality Index, the Dave Thomas Adoption Friendly Advocate designation, and several Seramount lists, including the Inclusion Index and 100 Best Companies for Working Parents.
To foster a culture of inclusivity, we offer company-sponsored, employee-driven Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) open to all employees. These groups provide a supportive environment to help us better appreciate our similarities and differences. Additionally, our responsibilities extend beyond corporate walls through the Aegon Transamerica Foundation, which supports nonprofit organizations in the communities where we live and work.
Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time. Please note that relocation assistance will not be provided for this position.
