Manager - Information Security at Acuity

About the Role

Acuity is seeking a Manager – Information Security to lead a team dedicated to safeguarding our enterprise operations. This role serves as the strategic architect for our security infrastructure, responsible for planning, implementing, and managing both current and future security systems. You will bridge the gap between technical execution and business continuity, ensuring that our hardware, software, and integrated platforms are robust enough to support our mission.

In this position, you will drive the maturity of our threat intelligence program, integrating detection and response workflows to anticipate emerging threats. You will own the strategy for Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and User and Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA) programs, focusing on the detection of insider threats and anomalous activity. Beyond technical oversight, you will mentor security analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement in investigative rigor and response readiness.

The Team & Culture

As a leader within Acuity, you will collaborate closely with other areas of IT and the company to ensure seamless security integration. You will be accountable for the planning and proposal of security initiatives, evaluating alternatives to develop specifications that align with capacity and limitations. Your leadership will extend to managing personnel issues, providing on-the-job training, and conducting performance evaluations to build a high-performing team.
